Aphanothece sp. ( Fig. 7P View FIGURE 7 ).

Colonies irregular, 17–89.89 µm diam. Sheath firm, thick, gelatinous, hyaline. Cells densely to sparsely disposed, oblong or ellipsoid, 5.49–8.57 µm diam. Without individual envelopes. Cell content slightly granulated, pale purple.

Habitat:— Tree bark inside the forest associate to Tolypothrix rechingeri .

Notes: — Aphanothece sp. was identify by Gama-Jr. et al. (2014) and is probably a new species.
