Current name: Tillandsia usneoides (L.) L. View in CoL ( Bromeliaceae ).

Note: Although Smith & Downs (in Fl. Neotropica 14: 900. 1977) treated material in the Sloane herbarium (BM-SL) as the type, this was not studied by Linnaeus and is not original material for the name.
