Type material examined ( ZIN). Holotype (m), allotype (m) and paratypes (2ff): ‘ Eastern Kazakhstan / east coast of Lake Alakol / 20 km north of Uzynbulak village / 06.vii.1965 / leg. N.G. Skopin’ [in Cyrillics] [45°54’44.73”N, 82°10’50.51”E].

Comments. Skopin (1966) described this species (after study of six specimens available to him), but did not indicate the number of males and females in the description. There are four specimens in the collection of ZIN: the holotype, the allotype (male!) and 2 paratypes .

Distribution. Kazakhstan: the area surrounding Alakol Lake and Zhalanashkol Lake ( SKOPIN 1966 ).
