Etymology: The spelling is mainly derived from Indian Nobel laureate’s surname Rabindranath Tagore, eminent polymath. The Latin suffix “ -iana ” forms collective nouns and, thus denoting an assembly of items. The name Tagoriana is select to maintain the gender and the etymological root of Tagoria , the original genus name proposed by Yakovlev & Zolotuhin (2021). The gender is feminine.
Species content: Tagoriana watsoni ( Hampson, 1900) comb. nov. and Tagoriana dierli ( Yakovlev & Zolotuhin, 2021 ) comb. nov.
