Antenna clavate; holotype with antennal segments 1–8 in following proportions: 11:7:33:18:14:12:10:8 (last two segments missing); antenna of specimen from Japan, Omoto, in following proportions: 16:8:36:19:16:13:11:9:8:10.5; rhinaria present in antennal segments 6–10. Head dull, hairless, slightly convex, with dorsal surface reticulate rugose; ventral surface of head with medial area smooth and lateral areas sculptured by many longitudinal keels; frontal line complete; occipital carina complete, laterally not reaching eyes; holotype with POL = 8; OL = 2.5; OOL = 8; OPL = 2; TL = 2; greatest breadth of the posterior ocelli slightly longer than OPL (3:2); in specimen from China, Nanling National Nature Reserve, POL = 7; OL = 3; OOL = 10; OPL = 3; TL = 3; greatest breadth of posterior ocelli as long as OPL. Pronotum shiny, smooth, unsculptured, except many longitudinal striae around and on sides of disc; pronotum with disc humped and posterior collar short; pronotal tubercle not reaching tegula.
