Anteon peculiare Olmi 1993d: 27 .
Description of Female. Fully winged; length 3.6 mm. Completely testaceous, except petiole black. Antenna clavate; antennal segments in following proportions: 20:6:8:8:7:7:7:7:7:9. Head shiny, completely reticulate rugose; frontal line indistinct among face areolae, clearly distinct only in front of anterior ocellus; POL = 5; OL = 4; OOL = 4; OPL = 6; TL = 6; occipital carina complete. Pronotum reticulate rugose, except smooth area near the posterior margin; posterior surface shorter than scutum (15:18); pronotal tubercle reaching tegula. Scutum shiny, smooth, punctate, unsculptured among punctures. Notauli incomplete, reaching approximately 0.75 length of scutum. Scutellum and metanotum shiny, smooth, unsculptured. Propodeum with strong transverse keel between dorsal and posterior surface; dorsal surface reticulate rugose; posterior surface with two complete longitudinal keels and median and lateral areas reticulate rugose and dull. Fore wing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; distal part of stigmal vein much shorter than proximal part (5:15). Protarsal segments in following proportions: 10:4:5:15:26. Enlarged claw ( Plate 39A View PLATE 39 ) with proximal prominence bearing one long bristle. Segment 5 of protarsus ( Plate 39A View PLATE 39 ) with two rows of about 35–36 lamellae; distal apex with about 4 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.
Male. Unknown.
Material examined. Type: holotype ♀: SRI LANKA: Sabaragamuwa Prov., Karagal-Oya, 3 mls. ENE Belihul-Oya, 1900 ft., 2.III.1962, by sweeping on vegetation at side of a stream, Brinck , Andersson & Cederholm leg., Lund University Ceylon Expedition 1962 ( ZIL).
Hosts. Unknown.
Distribution. Sri Lanka (Sabaragamuwa).
Remarks. According to Mita (2012) A. peculiare is present also in China: Taiwan, Nantou, Tungpu, 1200 m, 20 24.VI.1983, K.C. Chou & C.Y. Wong leg., 1♀ ( TARI).
