– Reported (distribution only) from “north of South America” in Felder et al. (2009), Mantelatto et al. (2020) and Moraes et al. (2022), with “Guianas” even indicated in the later contribution. We failed, however, to find collections in the region in previous contributions and no specimen was located in NMNH (2023) collections, consulted online. It seems better to remove this species from sGuianas until regional specimens are clearly identified.
