Synonymy: Hoplophthiracarus robustior Jacot, 1933 : ( Niedbała 2001).
Geographic Location: ON: Algonquin PP; Long Point NWA, Little Creek Ridges ( Niedbała 2002); near White River ( Barreto & Lindo 2018).
Habitats: pine and cedar litter; boreal peatland.
Distribution: Holarctic; northern Neotropical.
