Distribution: The species is known from Iran (Mazandaran), Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Norway and Switzerland (as Medetera seguyi ); Russia (Adygea, Karachai-Cherkessia and Krasnodar; as subspecies M. seguyi sphaeroidea Negrobov, 1967 ).
