Sinanodonta (Ellipsanodon) ovata Bogatov & Starobogatov (1996) : 1328.

Type locality: Gladkaya River , 8 km upstream of the mouth, Khasan District, Primorye, Russian Far East.

Comments: The status of this species has been confirmed by Bespalaya et al. (2018) ( Table 1). However, it may have an older available name, especially among Japanese nominal taxa, e.g. Sinanodonta lauta (Martens, 1877) .
