Lectotype (designated here):— INDONESIA, Java, s. ann., Blume s. n. ( L, L.2635885, https://data.biodiversitydata.nl/naturalis/specimen/ L.2635885; isolectotype: L [ L.2635884], https://data.biodiversitydata.nl/naturalis/specimen/ L.2635884). Fig. 5 View FIGURE
Scheffer (1867), proposed a new combination E. viridiflora based on the collection of Blume, Kuhl and van Hasselt from Java. Based on Stafleu & Cowan (1976, 1979), we could trace the specimens of Blume, Kuhl and van Hasselt from Java that were cited in protologue. The specimen L.2635884 collected by Kuhl and van Hasselt possesses leaf, a pocket and tickets. The second specimen L.2635885 collected by Blume depicts flowering twig’s, a pocket and labels. Hence, the specimens match with the protologue here we designate the specimen with barcode no. L.2635885 as lectotype.
