Female. Length 5 lines. - Head, thorax, and nodes of the abdomen bright ferruginous; the antennae, legs and abdomen very dark fusco-ferruginous; the mesothorax with three fuscous stripes, the central one abbreviated. The head coarsely rugose; the prothorax transversely striated, the strias delicate and irre- gular; the mesothorax and scutellum longitudinally striated, the latter very convex and prominent; the metathorax with two stout spines; the wings fuscous; the nodes of the peduncle globose, and of equal size; the entire insect thinly sprinkled with short pale hairs,
