Comments.
This species was described from L. argentiventris from the Perlas Archipielago, Panama by Kritsky and Mendoza-Franco (in Kritsky 2012). Euryhaliotrema fajeravilae is distinguished from other species of the genus infecting lutjanids by having larger anchors and a noticeably smaller copulatory complex. The morphometrics of the present specimens did not differ from that of the original description.
Specimens deposited.
