Diagnosis. The new species differs from all other Pseudonicsara species so far known by the female subgenital plate that is not bilobate at apex but has the apical margin entire and rounded ( Fig. 441; see key).

Description. Fastigium verticis in front of eyes 0.8 mm, from base 1.1 mm; dorsal eye length 1.3 mm; greatest diameter of eye 1.3 mm; index fastigium verticis from base: eye length 0.9. Face subsmooth in middle, a little rugose towards genae. Slightly brachypterous; tegmen covering abdomen but not reaching hind knees. Femora with the following number of spines on ventral margins: fore femur 7–8 external, 6–7 internal; mid femur 6 external, 3 internal near base; hind femur 9–10 external, 6–7 small internal in basal area.

Male unknown.

Female. Tenth abdominal tergite transverse, furrowed and apex triangularly excised in middle. Subgenital plate roughly triangular in general outline with broad, rounded apex (slightly sinuate when looked in detail); with a pair of strong carinae separating a central disc that is deeply depressed between the carinae from lateral ascending areas ( Figs. 441, 492, 514). Ovipositor rather robust, distinctly curved ( Fig. 542).

Coloration. Yellowish brown. Face with a blackish-brown median band from fastigium to clypeus, slightly widening ventrad and with ventral margin sinuate; antennal scrobae and ventral side of scapus also blackish-brown ( Fig. 21). Tegmen dark brown with a little conspicuous network of pale green veins and veinlets. Fore tibia with dorsal area infumate; in tympanal area with three distinct black spots separated by two light areas.

Measurements of female: body 26; pronotum 7.3; tegmen 19; hind femur 16.5; antenna 90; ovipositor 16.5 mm.
