Type species.
Acanthia denticulata Rossi, Junior synonym of Cimex bidentatus Goeze, 1778.
Diagnosis.
(After Barber 1930) Scapus not produced beyond insertion of basiflagellomere. First labial segment approximately twice as long as second and third segments. Scapus unarmed beneath. Head dorsally armed with two prominent tubercles.
