Remarks. Some of the specimens are brown with the dark elytral band, other specimens are completely unicoloured brown, all other characters coincide. This colour difference is considered as infraspecific variation, similar as in Spiloscapha cooteri and Spiloscapha sumatrana . See also under Spiloscapha sp. below ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 1 – 10 ).
