Material examined. Holotype ♂: Turkey, Eastern Pontic Mountains, Artvin, Borcka, Camili , Gorgit yaylasi, 1600 m a.s.l., 41°55'E 41°25'N, 26-X-95. The holotype and one female paratype from the same locality are deposited in the Zoological Museum of Lausanne , Switzerland. Other paratypes: same date and locality, 8♂, 13♀; Camili, 1350 m, 29-X-97, 1♂, 3♀ (held in Sivec and Vinçon collections).

Etymology. Named in honour of Véronique Gouanère, wife of Gilles Vinçon.
