Body length: 3.57–4.40 mm (mean 4.16 mm); body width: 1.43–1.84 mm (mean 1.67 mm); head width: 0.80–1.24 mm (mean 1.03 mm); pronotum width: 1.11–1.17 mm (mean 1.15 mm), about 1.1 x as broad as long; body moderately stocky and weakly sclerotized. Antennae reaching to about half of elytra length ( Fig. 2 View FIGURES 1 – 6 ). Anterior margin of pronotum with 10–14 projections (6/6, 7/7, 7/7, 5/5, 7/5, 6/5, 6/5 projections on sides in individuals). Wings almost reaching the posterior margin of 1st (morphologically 3rd) clearly visible abdominal segment ( Figs 1, 2 View FIGURES 1 – 6 ). Each fore, middle, and hind tibiae with 5, 8–10, and 6 protuberances respectively. Tarsi of hind legs slightly protruding from anterior margin of 4th (morphologically 6th) clearly visible abdominal segment ( Figs 1, 2 View FIGURES 1 – 6 ). Abdomen moderately and gradually widened from segment II to IV and narrowed to the terminal part of the body ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 1 – 6 ). Abdominal tergites with microstructure as in G. osseticus ( Fig. 19 View FIGURES 19 – 40 A). Abdominal segments VII and VIII each bearing a pair of setiform projections on sides, projections similar in length and structure to these one in G. osseticus ( Figs 19, 20 View FIGURES 19 – 40 ). Terminal sternite of female pupa with two well-developed ventral prolongations (Fig. 41); in male pupa sternite IX as in Fig. 42; ventral and terminal prolongation with numerous, sharp, cuticular processes (Figs 41A, B). The first pair of functional spiracles elongated, gradually narrowed apically, almost as long as wide ( Fig. 52 View FIGURES 52 – 70 ); atrophied spiracles as in Figs 61, 62 View FIGURES 52 – 70 .
