Type species— Odontozineus penicillatus Monné, 2009 (original designation).
Diagnosis. Antennomere III in male with distinct projection at apex; elytra without carinae; with setose centrobasal crest (long erect setae); scape not dilated at apex; sides of the prothorax with rounded protuberance; prosternal and mesoventral processes 3/4 the diameter of a pro- and mesocoxae respectively.
