Larval host plants: Feeds in living roots of Carya illinoinensis , Castanea , Malus , Populus , Quercus , Tilia ( Lingafelter 2007) and Kalmia latifolia ( Monné & Nearns 2022a)

Chemical lures: Males are attracted to the female-produced pheromone (3 R,5 S)-3,5-dimethyldodecanoic acid ( Barbour et al. 2011).

Comments: Attracted to lights.
