Comment: Species identification for Ptychadena in Angola is not resolved ( Baptista et al. 2019). A single specimen was found near Lagoa da Matemba, but no advertisement call was heard. It was assigned to P. oxyrhynchus based on morphology and coloration ( Fig. 10A–B View Fig ). This species has recently been recorded from BNP ( Butler et al. 2019) and is known from several localities in Angola ( Marques et al. 2018).
