Generitype of Camphorosma Linnaeus (vide Hitchcock, Prop. Brit. Bot.: 126. 1929).

Current name: Camphorosma monspeliaca L. View in CoL ( Chenopodiaceae ).

Note: Jafri & Rateeb (in Jafri & El-Gadi, Fl. Libya 58: 31. 1978) indicated 165.2 (LINN) as type but as this collection is unannotated by Linnaeus, it is not original material for the name. Their choice is therefore rejected in favour of Hedge’s typification.
