Diagnosis. This species can be distinguished from the other Ganodes by the combination of the following character states: 1) face white with a narrow longitudinal black stripe; 2) posterior ocellus separated from eye by 1.5× its maximum diameter; 3) metapleuron sparsely and finely punctate; 4) hind coxa and femur white with longitudinal black stripes; 5) metasoma black with lateral and posterior margins of tergite I and posterior margin of remaining tergites all broadly white; 6) ovipositor 2.1× length of the hind tibia ( Díaz 2008).
