Material examined. Two specimens: Hawaii ( USA), UMAR-Poly 96, 2 spec. (Hawaii inter-island cargo barge, HF–023, hull fouling community roughly two years old; barge only operates in Hawaii, coll. SG) .
Diagnosis. Tube white, rough, thick-walled, with five longitudinal ridges, lacks peristomes or alveoli. Opercular peduncle smooth, white, with marked constriction. Operculum symmetrical, deep; funnel with 37– 47 radii with blunt tips ( Figs 11L–M). Collar with bayonet chaetae, with five blunt-short teeth, distal blade smooth.
Habitat. Depth: intertidal to few meters. Fouling species.
Distribution. Indo-Pacific. Sri Lanka, South China Sea, southern Japan, Australia, Micronesia, Hawaii ( Imajima & ten Hove 1984).
