Specimens examined. TAIWAN. 1♀, Miaoli Co., Guanwu, 4–VIII–2015, leg. H. Y. Huang (TFRI); 1♂, Nantou Co., Dongpu Lodge, 2560 m, 6–VII–2011, leg. S. Wu & W. C. Chang, slide TFRI156729 (TFRI); 1♀, Hualien Co., Guanyuan, 2360 m, 13–IX–2012, leg. S. Wu, slide 157481 (TFRI).
Diagnosis. This species shows close affinity to the allopatric species L. erectaria based on its appearance and genitalia but can be distinguished by the more contorted antemedial line in the forewing; the more elongated saccus; and the aedeagus curved rather than straight.
Distribution and bionomics. Taiwan and Tibet ( Xue & Zhu 1999).
