Distribution: India: Himachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Southern India and Uttarakhand. Elsewhere: Pakistan, Nepal, Bhutan, central and Southern China, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam South to Peninsular Malaysia and Japan (Chandra, et al., 2014, Pittaway and Kitching, 2020).

Host Plant: Chionanthus malabarica , Ligustrum robustum, Fraxinus and Osmanthus fragrans , Lonicera, Ligustrum, Fraxinus and Osmanthus , Olea paniculata and Syringa (Robinson, et al., 2001; Pittaway and Kitching, 2020).
