1. Irenaneura dorsispina View in CoL sp. nov. ( Figs 1, 4, 8 View FIGURES 1 – 11. 1, 4, 8 , 12–22 View FIGURES 12 - 22 )

Description: Ground color yellow-brownish. Face light testaceous, two sides of frontoclypeal area slightly or heavily darkened. Pronotum lighter than the other 3 species. Mesonotum bright yellow-brownish. Forewing with clavus dark brown, 3rd apical cell slightly darker ( Figs 1, 4, 8 View FIGURES 1 – 11. 1, 4, 8 ).

Male pygofer dorsal appendage extremely long, distal half thin and sharply curved dorsad, apical part slightly twisted ( Fig 14 View FIGURES 12 - 22 ). Subgenital plate (in dorsal view) narrowing apicad, subbasal margin provided with 2–3 irregular rows of peglike microsetae, distal row of microsetae sparse ( Fig. 16 View FIGURES 12 - 22 ). Style apical dorsal branch with subapical tooth comparatively short, apical tooth indistinct; basal part slim ( Figs 17, 18 View FIGURES 12 - 22 ). Connective trapezoidal ( Fig. 19 View FIGURES 12 - 22 ). Aedeagal shaft ornamented with dense minute teeth distally, with bifurcate process at midlength dorsally; dorsal apodeme well developed ( Fig 20–22 View FIGURES 12 - 22 ).

Measurement: Male length 3.2–3.3mm, female length 3.4–3.5mm (including wing).

Material examined: Holotype: 3, CHINA, Yunnan Prov., Jinghong, 750m, 5-xii-1999, coll. I. Dworakowska. Paratypes: 133ƤƤ, same data as holotype; 131Ƥ, CHINA, Yunnan Prov., Mengla, Mount. Nangong, 1150 m, 12- xii-1999, coll. Qin Daozheng.

Diagnosis: Distinguished by its smaller genital capsule and style, thinner and longer pygofer dorsal appendage, and single dorsal process of aedeagus.

Etymology: This new species name is derived from Latin prefix “dors-” and Latin word “spina” referring to the dorsal process of the aedeagal shaft.
