Comments. The species occurs mainly in the Hauts Plateaux and has not been recorded in the northern Sahara in recent years. The species is also absent from the humid and subhumid regions of Morocco, where it is rare ( Thiéry 1987), and Tunisia ( Marrone et al. 2016).
