Natural coloration changed after removal from alcohol. Ground color infuscated, vertex with transverse stripe at hind margin dark, face testaceous, eyes grey, basal triangles of mesonotum black. Fore wing light brown.

Male genitalia: Pygofer side without macrosetae at cephalo-ventral angle ( Fig. 20a View FIGURE 20 ); dorsal appendage triangular, sinuated ( Fig. 20b View FIGURE 20 ). Style slender apically, without apical and subapical tooth ( Fig. 20e View FIGURE 20 ). Aedeagal shaft long, paired apical processes symmetric, long, curved laterad; preatrial process extremely short, not reaching gonopore; gonopore subbasal ( Figs 20g, h View FIGURE 20 ).

Measurement: Male 2.80mm.

Material examined: Holotype: ♂ [ QSBG], THAILAND: Petchaburi , Kaeng Krachan NP Panernthung/km30, 12°49.598'N, 99°21.827'E, Malaise trap, 12–19. ix. 2008, coll. Sirichai & Chusak. GoogleMaps

Remarks: Very similar to A. cervena Dworakowska , but style not pointed subapically on lateral margin, aedeagal shaft narrower, gonopore shifted basad, and preatrial process much shorter.

Etymology: The specific epithet is derived from the Greek word “ symmetros ”, referring to the symmetric apical aedeagal processes.
