Body yellowish. Eyes and basal triangles blackish.

Abdominal apodemes small but broad, extending to the middle of 3rd sternite.

Male genitalia: Pygofer with single macroseta at cephalo-ventral angle of lobe ( Fig. 18a View FIGURE 18 ), apex of dorsal appendage pointed and with one denticulation at ventral subapex ( Fig. 18b View FIGURE 18 ). Style with apical tooth obviously shorter than subapical tooth ( Figs 18c, d View FIGURE 18 ). Aedeagal shaft with pair of long apical processes; apex of preatrial process reaching gonopore; gonopore near middle ( Figs 18f, g View FIGURE 18 ).

Measurement: Male 2.83mm, female 3.05mm.

Material examined: Holotype: ♂ [ NWAFU], CHINA: Hunan Prov., Hengshan County, 7.viii.1985, coll. Zhang Yalin and Chai Yonghui . Paratypes: 2♂♂ 7♀♀, same data as holotype ; 1♂ [ NWAFU], CHINA: Hunan Prov., Chenzhou City , 3.viii.1985, coll. Zhang Yalin & Chai Yonghui .

Remarks: The new species is similar to A. akazu Dworakowska , but can be distinguished by aedeagal shaft with a pair of apical processes which are longer, and gonopore near middle.

Etymology: The specific epithet is derived from the Latin prefix “ sub- ” and Latin word “ dentatus ”, referring to pygofer dorsal appendage with one denticulation at ventral subapex.
