Specimens examined. 3 females, Turkey, Gümüşhane, Kirazalan WOld, 40° 43' N, 39°03' E, alt. 1426 m, 24 NOvember 2013, in dung. GoogleMaps

Notes. This species is distributed in EurOpe, China, Siberia ( Mašán, 2003) and NOrth America ( Krantz & Whitaker, 1988), and is nOw recOrded in Turkey fOr the first time. It is very clOse tO M. merdarius , but separatiOn characters are very clear in the paper Of Mašán (2003). Its ventral shields as in Fig. 39 View FIGURES 35 – 39. 35 .
