We collected larvae of Parachaetocladius abnobaeus (Wülker, 1959) in a tributary to Fire Cove on Revillagigedo Island and Little Rabbit Creek in the Anchorage area . This is a new faunistic record of the genus and the species for Alaska. In the Nearctic, the larvae and pupae are known primarily from spring-fed streams (Andersen et al. 2013) .
