Lectotype (Tanaka in Meded. Rijks-Herb. 69: 7. 1931; Coode in Bosser & al., Fl. Mascareignes 65: 25. 1979): König s.n., Herb. Linn. No. 548.1 ( LINN) .

Generitype of Bergera Linnaeus , nom. rej.

Current name: Bergera koenigii L. View in CoL ( Rutaceae ).

Note: Bergera Linnaeus , nom. rej. in favour of Murraya Linnaeus.

Tanaka (in Meded. Rijks-Herb. 69: 7. 1931) indicated König material at LINN as type but did not distinguish between sheets 548.1 and 548.2. As these appear to be part of a single gathering (Art. 9.15), typification is attributed to Tanaka, with Coode subsequently restricting the choice to 548.1 (LINN).
