Type species. Phyllis fulvipes Gistel, 1848 , by monotypy. Current status. Synonym of Calligrapha Chevrolat, 1836 View in CoL (see MONRÓS & BECHYNÉ 1956, SEENO & WILCOX 1982, DACCORDI 1994, RILEY et al. 2003).
Comments. Phyllis is also a junior primary homonym of Phyllis Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830 (Diptera, nomen oblitum) and Phyllis Gistel, 1834 (Buprestidae) (see BOUSQUET & BOUCHARD 2017).
