Philoponella vittata (Keyserling, 1881)

Distribution. P. vittata is distributed from Panama to Paraguay, except in Venezuela and French Guyana ( Platnick 2013, Opell 1979). There is only one record for Brazil, in the state of Acre ( Opell, 1979). Here, the distribution is expanded in Ecuador and northern Brazil, and new records for south-eastern Brazil were reported ( Fig. 7B ).
