Type Locality: Liberia, Lofa County, ca. 2 mi. (3 km) SW Voinjama, near Zozoma, John Hegbe Farm, 8°25'N, 9°35'W, ca. 500 m. GoogleMaps

Vernacular Names: Upland Horseshoe Bat.

Distribution: Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria, Cameroon.

Conservation: IUCN 2003 – not evaluated; not considered in IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001).

Discussion: ferrumequinum species group. Originally named as a subspecies of clivosus , but apparently distinct; see Cotterill (2002).
