Remarks.

Pacidesmus contains 12 species found in southern China and northern Thailand (listed below). While the type species, P. shelleyi Golovatch, 1991, is known from forest litter at 2,200 m a.s.l. on Mount Doi Inthanon in northern Thailand ( Golovatch 1991), the remaining species seem to be troglobionts restricted to caves in southern China, especially Guangxi and Guizhou provinces ( Golovatch et al. 2010; Golovatch and Geoffroy 2014; Liu and Golovatch 2020).
