Distribution in Canada and Alaska.
MB, ON, QC, NB, NS ( Bousquet et al. 2013). All new records of Ceracis thoracicornis (Ziegler) in NB were based on specimens captured in Lindgren funnel traps. This species is widespread in the southern half of the province but was found at only five localities and in relatively low numbers. This species was found in hardwood, mixed, and pine forests.
