Distribution. Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Romania, Russia (north-west and centre of European part), Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Ukraine.

Remarks. Rhamphomyia (H.) flava (R. (H.) flava group) is broadly distributed across a temperate zone of Europe, including the North-Western and Central regions of the European part of Russia. Our data suggest that the eastern border of the distribution of this species is limited by the Urals (Chelyabinskaya Province). Records of this species from the Caucasus ( Kustov et al. 2009: 124; Gladun 2012: 111) require confirmation.
