Material examined

New Caledonia. LIFOU, stn 1434, Santal Bay, Lifou Island , Loyalty Islands, 20°52.5′S, 167°08.1′E, 5–20 m, 6 November 2000, 1 female SL 2.1 mm (MNHN-Pg 8310) . French Polynesia. Papeete, Tahiti , August 1890, coll. A. Culliéret, 1 male SL 1.7 mm (MNHN-Pg 1927) .

Distribution

Maldives, Japan, Guam, and Samoa ( Komai and Osawa 2006). Newly recorded from New Caledonia and Tahiti ; subtidal to 20 m.
