Positive for oxidase, nitrate reduction and β -galactosidase, weakly positive for urease, but negative for indole production, glucose fermentation, arginine dihydrolase, urease and gelatinase. D-Mlatose is utilized. Dose not utilize D-glucose, L-arabinose, D-mannose, D-mannitol, N -acetyl-glucosamine, potassium gluconate, capric acid, adipic acid, D-malic acid, trisodium citrate and phenylacetic acid.
