Trypeta producta Loew, 1844: 399. Type locality: Turkey.
Remarks.
This species was recorded from India by Hancock and McGuire (2002), based on two males and two females from Gulmarg, Kashmir. However, given the complexity of this group, additional material is required for confirmation. Elsewhere, it is widespread from Western Europe to Central Asia, including Afghanistan ( Agarwal and Sueyoshi 2005).
