( Figs 6 View FIGURES 6 – 10 , 21 View FIGURES 17 – 22 , 25 View FIGURES 23 – 28. 23 )
Supplementary description. Male. Tergite 8: transverse, apical portion with a few small setae, apodemes strongly sclerotized, about twice as long as apical portion, diverging basally. Tergite 9: apical portion relative large, moderately long seta on apical margin; apodemes strongly sclerotized, about as long as apical portion, diverging basically. Sternite 9 small, broadly bilobed, apex with a few long setae, apodemes short, merging. Aedeagus complex, asymmetric, basal piece greatly reduced, trigonium relatively broad, weakly sinuate, apex pointed, one edge with well-developed setae; parameroids absent (possibly represented by irregular projections on anterior edge of basal piece). Tegmen well developed, parameres well developed, long, thin, robust, and connected at their bases by a narrow stirrup-like bridge which partially surrounds the penis, one side of bridge fused to penis ( Fig. 21 View FIGURES 17 – 22 ).
Female. Apices of elytra with a transverse, bare, depression surrounded by slightly longer setae (excitator of Ruta 2008) ( Fig. 25 View FIGURES 23 – 28. 23 ). Coxites elongate, styli small, oval, apodemes long, simple, prehensor weakly sclerotised broad with two thin serrated lateral ridges, bursal sclerite moderately sclerotized, signet-ring-shaped with or without an internal prong ( Fig. 6 View FIGURES 6 – 10 ).
Specimens examined. 6, ‘Eubenangee Swamp, Queensland, at light, 13/3/13, CHS Watts’. Notes. A relatively rare species so far known only from coastal swamps of North Queensland. Larva not known.
