Notes
Recent phylogenetic analysis of the Aphroditiformia, taking into account morphological and molecular information, recovered species previously assigned to Pholoidae as nested within Sigalionidae ( Norlinder et al. 2012, Gonzalez et al. 2017). Pholoidae were demoted to subfamiliar rank ( Pholoinae ) within Sigalionidae by Gonzalez et al. (2017).
