Notes
Belokobylskij et al. (2003) include Microtypus , without comment, in the Orgilinae , where it had traditionally been placed prior to recent phylogenetic work. In the molecular phylogeny of Belshaw and Quicke (2002) the genus Microtypus is the sister group to Homolobinae , as also found by Sharanowski et al. (2011) (albeit with this clade the sister group to Orgilinae ). This relationship was originally suggested by Achterberg (1984b).
