Widely distributed in Europe, European part of Russia, and Caucasus. Known from Israel, Iran ( Linnavuori, 2007, 2009), Kazakhstan, West and East Siberia, introduced to North America. Previously has not been reported from Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan.
