Distribution: Sumba, Roti, Sumbawa, Flores, Semau, and Savu Isls ( Indonesia).

Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Lower Risk (nt).

Discussion: larvatus species group. Distinct from larvatus ; see Kitchener and Maryanto (1993 a). Lectotype designated by van Bree (1961).
