Type locality. Cano Wiraki , Venezuela.

Remarks. The species was reported previously from Brazil and Venezuela ( Boulard 1986; Sanborn 2007a; 2008a).

Material examined. Misiones, Iguazú, 5-I-1997, D. Rojas Lanus coll. (one female AFSC); Misiones, Iguazú, 12-I-1997, D. Rojas Lanus coll. (one female AFSC); Misiones, Iguazú, 20-I-1997, D. Rojas Lanus coll. (one male AFSC); Chaco, Rosa Azul Misiones , I-2004, P. Wagner (seven males, one female, DECA, two males, AFSC).
