Bulbus tunica fulgente brunnea. Folium decumbens , scapus erectus . Spatha magis longa quam primus pedicellus. Perianthium flavum. Hypanthium rectum aut leviter descendens (rarissime leviter sigmoideum). Ovarium subviride.
Type:— SPAIN. Andalusia: Cordoba, Cabra municipality, close to Arroyo de la Rata, elevation 573 m, 30SUG7450, 7 March 2018, J. López Tirado (holotype COA!, n. 58547).
Bulb with bright brown tunics. Leaves linear, decumbent, 0.15–0.3 cm wide, semicilindric section and 8–9 keels on the outer side. Scape erect, (1–)2–3(–5)-flowered, 8.5–23 cm long. Spathe 2.9–4.1 cm long, scarious, with reddish nerves, longer than first pedicel. Spathe tube 0.7–1.2 cm long. First flower pedicel 2.3–3.7 cm long; second flower pedicel 1.3–2.9 cm long. First flower diameter 2.3–3.2 cm. Yellow tepals, dimorphic, patent or slightly reflexed, 0.7–1.4 cm long; outer tepals 0.5–0.8 cm wide, apiculate or mucronate; inner tepals 0.4–0.7 cm wide, mucronate or entire (rarely emarginate). Yellow corona, 0.4–0.6 cm long, 0.8–1.2 cm distal diameter, frequently not expanded, subentire; more rarely expanded, hexa-lobed. Hypanthial tube 2.1–2.3 cm long, from greenish yellow to light green, straight or slightly downward (very rare slightly sigmoid). Perigone 2.6–2.85 cm long. Ovary 0.6–1.0 cm long, 0.3–0.4 cm maximum diameter, mid green.
