Bulbus tunica fulgente brunnea. Folium erectus , ascendens aut descendens. Scapus erectus aut ascendens . Spatha magis parva aut longa primus pedicellus. Perianthium discolor (tepali albi vel eburnei, corona sufflava) aut concolor (eburneum aut aureum). Hypanthium rectum, rarissime leviter decumbens . Ovarium viride.
Type:— SPAIN. Andalusia: Cordoba, Cabra municipality, close to Arroyo de la Rata, elevation 557 m, 30SUG7450, 9 March 2018, J. López Tirado (holotype COA!, n. 58540).
Bulb with bright brown tunics. Leaves linear, decumbent, ascendent or erect, 0.25–0.7 cm wide, semicilindric section and 2–8 keels on the outer side. Scape erect or ascendent, 3–6(–9)-flowered, 7–45.2(–51) cm long. Spathe (2.2–)2.6– 3.6(–3.9) cm long, scarious, with reddish nerves, shorter or longer to first pedicel. Spathe tube 0.4–1.4 cm long. First flower pedicel (1.8–)2.5–3.5(–4.45) cm long; second flower pedicel (1.5–)2.6–3.1(–4.2) cm long. First flower diameter 2.5–3.5 cm. Perianth discolor –white or yellowish white tepals and pale yellow corona– or concolor –yellowish white or pale yellow tepals and corona–. Dimorphic tepals, patent, 1–1.6 cm long; outer tepals (0.6–)0.75–1.15(– 1.3) cm wide, mucronate or apiculate; inner tepals (0.5–)0.65–0.9(–1.0) cm wide, from entire to mucronulate. Corona, 0.3–0.45 cm long, (0.65–)0.8–0.9(–1.05) cm distal diameter, expanded and irregularly crenated or not expanded and subentire or widely crenated in 3 parts. Hypanthial tube (1.55–)1.8–2.25(–2.3) cm long, light green, yellowish white or pale yellow in the distal part, straight, very rarely slightly downward. Perigonium (1.95–)2.25–2.55(–2.75) cm long. Ovary (0.45–)0.5–0.8(–0.9) cm long, 0.3–0.4 cm maximum diameter, light green.
